FeluciaChapter 1- FeluciaThere were some aspects of galactic warfare the Komonians had neglected to include in the standard training sequence for their clone soldiers. They failed to instruct their Clone Commandos on the appropriate method to handle mutated alien diseases Commander Bly had seen infect Clone troopers before his eyes and within seconds they were clawing off their helmets and curling on the ground in a foetal position as their insides were dissolved by the acidic vapour. To enhance the experience of being in the very deepest depths of hell there was the constant shrieking of the damned as Acklay hunted or called out for their mates. Either way meant trouble for the Republic army sitting in the centre of their territory.Commander Bly felt worse about the current deployment with every passing moment, although he would never allow any of the men under him to know, he thought that the Chancellor must have been off his head on spice when he ordered the Grand Army to take Felucia fr
Black and White Chapter 2Chapter 2- A New LandThe void around him suddenly disintegrated. The bright veil around dispersed, he felt solid ground beneath his feet. The fog that encapsulated him began to clear; he stepped forward into a field clearing. He looked too either side, he was surrounded by stunned people, Greeks. They seemed as disoriented as he was; he recognized some of the faces as people from the Greek capital. He looked around the clearing, in all his life he'd never left the Greek Island of Merosa, and he knew the entire island back to front. And this most definitely was not Merosa. Before him lay what looked to be an abandoned Greek settlement from long ago, obviously not the grand metropolis he had been in moments before.A figure stepped onto a rocky outcropping at the crest of the bank which rolled down to the settlement. His eyes scanned from a vantage point over the entire area surrounding the village. Alex suddenly recognized the individual, General Sturnn, Supreme Commander of the Greek
Black and WhiteChapter 1- Black and White"Life is never black or white, only shades of grey"The burning sun slowly began to settle over the watery horizon, bathing the Greek metropolis in an orange blanket with soothed Alexander's soul in its warming glow. His sword bounced against his thigh as he walked through the bustling streets of the Greek Capital city of Marat. As a soldier of the Greek Grand Army his occupation involved watching the shores from the turrets that encased the city for any approaching ships. Though honestly the job did seem rather redundant at times since the closest island was far out of range of even the most determined Armada. And even if there was an army foolish enough to attack the Greek citadel the hundred foot walls atop the high cliffs were lined heavy with artillery catapults ready to sink any ships long before they made landfall. But the pay was good, and it certainly had one serious perk of the job."Hi darling" Acacia called out, waving enthusiastically from the do
Lower City DancersChapter 1- Lower City DancersMission really loved the Lower City. It was constantly awash with activity and life. Traffic from Upper City coming down through the lower sky lanes under the glistening framework of the skyscraper that punctured through the veil of smog and grime which encrusted the rust covered metal coating of the Lower City supports.Mission strode through the Lower City pathways with her loyal companion Zalbaar. Mission and Zalbaar stepped past the flashing neon signs of the Lower City Cantina. As they passed the Rodian Bouncer guarding the door Mission saw out of the corner of her eye as the frail Rodian flinched at Zalbaars enormous form. Zalbaar growled deeply in his primal throat. The two stepped into the cantina, music booming over the speakers strapped to the walls of the Cantina. Mission looked across at Zalbaar, being with him for so long had given her a sixth sense to tell exactly what he was thinking, something usually restricted to others of his kind.
The Spartan II Program Chap 4Chapter 4- EpilogueThe Master Chief gripped his side arm, his armoured finger resting heavily on the trigger, ready to fire. Most enemies he had faced, Human or Covenant, cringed or showed some indication of fear when they came face to face with him. But Ackerson was a complete show of defiance, as if the Chief was as much of a threat to him as the young private he had just berated out the door.Ackerson smiled devilishly "So you survived" The Chief said nothing. Ackerson rose from behind his desk, walking calmly around the side of his desk. The Chief trained his pistol on him the entire time. Ackerson reached into a box on his desk. John gripped his pistol tighter, expecting him to reveal a weapon or another concealed threat. Ackerson noticed the aggressive body language, raising his other hand. "It's just a smoke Chief" He reached into the box, removing a Sweet Williams Cigar, the premier choice of practically every officer in the UNSC navy.He held one out for the Chief. "Cigar?" T
NightfallChapter 1- NightfallAmy strode through the empty streets of Soleana that fed into the base of the Royal Palace. She had finally gotten used to living in this strange new world. She found beauty in the calm and tranquil canals that meandered gently under the winding city streets, the busy bustle of people as they went about their daily lives. It was only once she passed the very base of the Palace that she heard it. That cry.A gentle sob that pierced the veil of silence that blanketed the rest of the city. Amy looked up towards the source of the noise, it appeared to be coming from the bridge over looking the flowing river. Through the dark veil of twilight she saw a figure standing on the bridge, their features bathed in the silver moonlight. Amy came to the foot of the bridge, it was Princess Elise.Amy silently stepped up the bridge, placing a gloved hand on her shoulder in an attempt to comfort her and offer some form of support. As soon as Amy's hand made contact with her shoulde
